When I say turn-based strategy I immediately think of Panzer General. I don’t know why…maybe it’s because that game there ruled a part of my childhood. I could dream those hexagons and the little action triggered circles with all the fighting inside. Nowadays…a turn-based strategy game on a hexagonal board? Count me IN, buddy !

The description for this game is totally kick-butt: the objective sees players having to harvest to earn credits and build up an army like any other strategy-based game. However, the game uses land-collapsing technology and players can literally destroy the land under their enemies or the enemies can do the same to players. Gamers will have to find a balance of maintaining resource management without totally obliterating the entire landscape.

I really enjoy it when games mirror real world issues. Or at least they try to mirror them by showing the fangs of a greedy society who never know when to stop. The game is announced for PS3, 360 and PC with a lot of fun on-line gaming for up to 4 players, coming to us early in the year 2010.
